Making of 1st Apple Retail Store in Singapore @ Knightsbridge (Part 6)

Face Mask On!

Since our Part 5 coverage, the Retail Store has taken another step in the progress. From our last coverage, only visible vertical glass structures were seen, and what it seems to be the backbones of the huge glass front to hold them in place.

Now, the glass which would be covering the Retail Store has started installation works. As of this publication, only it’s side and one part of the front glass installed.

More installation works of the glass should be gradually installed over the next few weeks while the internal works carries on behind closed doors.

It is also likely to be seen that the shelter of the outside of the Retail Store to be covered in the same type of the glass as like the storefront.

Due to secrecy, the construction materials are likely stored underneath the canvases.

Construction work of the Retail Store goes into the evening probably to speed up with the progress of it.

In addition to the previous post and via a 9to5Mac reader, Myles, a notice of the construction work is said that the Retail Store is expected to be completed by 31st October. This indicates that the Retail Store will open during November or after.

Counting down to less than 3 months till the end of October, the Retail Store will most probably be missing the rumoured next iPhone launch in September, but high hopes awaits for it be ready for the holidays before the end of 2016.
