IMDA or Infocomm Media Development Authority has certified most of the Apple devices that were unveiled from last night’s keynote.
The list shows the various Apple products and its model numbers.
They include the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, Apple TV 4K and the Apple Watch Series 3 (without LTE) which sets for launch on 22 September and the timing to be confirmed. It is likely it will begin at 8am, from past iPhone launches. The preorder for those devices starts 15th September at 1501hrs.
The iPhone X’s pre order would begin at a later date, 27th October and will launch on 3rd November.
Apple has also unveiled the Apple Watch Series 3 with Cellular, however, it will not be available in Singapore at launch with an unknown availability. It is probably due to the telcos and carriers here not compatible yet with the Apple Watch, which uses an electronic SIM, like a virtual SIM as compared to the physical SIM.
In the list, although there are 4 Apple Watch devices shown, however, the list did not show the Apple Watch with Cellular coming to SG in the near future. The Apple Watch devices, comes in 38mm and 42mm models, following both variations with its own separate demo units.
