It is less than 6 hours to the opening of Apple’s 1st Retail Store in Singapore, Apple Orchard Road. On the 25th May, the media has been given an exclusive look at the insides of it. Apple Orchard Road will have 2 floors, primarily the first floor is being used for sales such as the iPhone, iPad, Mac, other Apple products, and other accessories.

The second floor will be used for “Today at Apple” which would feature people from different walks of life to share and perform to the community.

The Apple Orchard Road has completed its undergoing the reveal process of the Retail Store that was originally hidden behind from the vinyl.

Apple’s 1st Retail Store in Singapore has made huge progress in the recent weeks, from the barricades being removed to having it to be wrapped up featuring the Retail Store’s name with the phrase “Apple Loves Singapore” in emoji or in term of shapes.

Apple Orchard Road will open on May 27 at 10 am and is now officially in the list of Retail Stores around the world, with Singapore being added in the list of countries with an Apple Retail Store. This comes after a 19-month long wait since October 2015 when Apple first announced plans of having a Retail Store.

According to The Straits Times, workers has been seen putting up a date on the Apple Retail Store marked, “27.05.17”. The Apple Orchard Road will officially open next Saturday on 27th May 2017 at 10 am (1000hrs).

Most of Apple’s Retail Stores opens on a Saturday and as, like Apple Orchard Road, it indeed falls on a Saturday. The previously rumoured date of May 22 by a worker seems to contradict the day that usually Apple opens their Retail Stores. 

On the Singapore’s version of Apple’s website, it has been updated to feature the new Retail Store and with a week and a half to the opening, Apple’s website for the Retail Store is currently live now. isn’t live yet. The website should come live as days to come. 

Aside from the Retail Store, Apple has also introduced on its website, “Today at Apple” with exclusive performances and sessions to coincide with the first few days of the opening.

Apple’s Love for the Red Dot

Last night, as reported by The Straits Times, the white canvas and barricades has (finally) been removed at the front of the Apple Retail Store. However, the insides has yet been revealed and the Retail Store will be named “Apple Orchard Road”.

On Apple’s website, the Retail Store isn’t listed yet, questioning a confirmed opening date though sources claim it will open on May 22.
